synopsis

iThemba is the Zulu word for hope. This documentary chronicles the Sinikithemba (sihn-ih-kih-tem-bah) Choir's journey from Durban, South Africa, to Boston to perform at an international AIDS conference. The conference is their first chance to represent themselves to the world and the biggest forum yet for their message of hope.
