synopsis

The early 90s. In a funky, Richmond pool hall run by proprietor “Watson”, (Edwin Johnson), whose adopted son “TC”, (Kelvin Han Yee), hustles nine-ball and is wrangled by his brother into the match of his life with mephistophelian pro “Dorian James”, (Don Bajema), the table is set for a high-stakes challenge in which more than victory is on the line. TC is faced with fear, doubt, honoring his prodigious gift, duty to family, his dying father, and to preserve his own dignity when girlfriend “Lois”, (Denise Concetta Cavaliere), urges him to believe in himself, .. and play.
