The Boy and the Galaxy

synopsis

William, a seven year old space enthusiast, lives in an abusive household. To escape the fighting between his parents, he hides out in his bedroom closet - his safe space. In there, he places an astronaut helmet over his head and lives within his imagination, escaping the reality of his home. But this method of shelter is only temporary: when his mother reaches her breaking point, they must escape to freedom.
