synopsis

It's a glimpse in the life of a ageing resident in a halfway home for the aged who refuses to succumb to dementia by rebelling against pity, gratifying satisfaction through bullying & resorting to attention seeking suicide attempts. Until Lola Edna meets, Angel, a caregiver from hell who won't give in to her caprices and opposes her offensive behavior. Lola Edna retreats to reclusion & becomes more determine to kill herself. Revealing more of her vulnerability, she eventually attracts Angel to soften up. They bond a strong friendship that will inevitably collapse into a bitter sweet tragedy, when Angel reveals her unexpected identity, fulfilling Lola Edna's desire to remember her family not only through fading pictures, but experiencing them in a moment of a heartwarming reunion.
