synopsis

ohn works as a janitor in a local school. Because he is a Chris5an, most people discriminate against him, thinking he can't do anything better than clean their toilets. But Daud John's neighbor treats him with respect. They become good friends over 5me, even though John knows nothing of Daud's business. After his mother is struck by a bus and dies, John's world is sha>ered. Alone and despondent, he loses his job at the school and cannot afford the rent on his house. It is then that Daud steps in to help John, financially and emotionally. John starts working and living at his friend's house, cleaning and cooking for Daud and his partner Fazal. Not only does John get a place to live and decent money, but he also has two friends he can trust. While John makes tea, an argument between Daud and Fazal heats up. John stares in disbelief as Daud grabs a hammer and brutally murders Fazal. In a state of shock, John mops up blood from the floor and helps Daud stuff Fazal's body into a sack. But he soon finds out that Fazal wasn't Daud's first murder. His friend is a professional assassin. John has fallen in love with Maria, a Chris5an girl who works as a maid at the school where he used to work. As the romance builds, John realizes that he needs to be financially independent so he can marry Maria. When Daud offers him Fazal's job as a rider, John's insecurities and fears compel him to say “yes”. He starts riding Daud around Karachi and becomes a silent partner in the killings. It is a terrible secret that he does his best to hide from Maria, dreading what will happen when she finds out.
