Reinventing Elvis: The Comeback, is a cinematic narrative, in documentary form, which delves into the behind-the-scenes drama that loomed over the iconic Elvis NBC Comeback Special that catapulted Presley back into people's homes and hearts. It is produced by Spencer Proffer, following his production of the award winning and 2023 MTV Awards', Best Documentary film nomination for the acclaimed American Pie cinematic film documentary, THE DAY THE MUSIC DIED, in partnership with Paramount+ and MTV Studios. Reinventing Elvis is a feature documentary - a unique blend of past and present, told through the Special's director/producer, Steve Binder's lens, via avant-garde filmmaking which transcends the genre.
