synopsis

A Go-Go 67 produced in 1967 is a musical melodrama featuring the popular "a go go" era. The film tells a story of a pair of young singers, Johari and Fauziah who are passionate about the Beatles-influenced music movement. Fauziah works at a shop, while Johari labours in a stable. During the night, their time is dedicated to practicing with their band. However, Fauziah needs to keep this a secret from her father who objects to the loud music. The pair has a chance at a big break when they see a poster for a talent contest - but Fauziah's father has forbidden her from participating in musical activities.
