Under a Pagan Sky

synopsis

In a time when Western culture has lost its sense of transcendence, dramatic rituals celebrating the turning of the seasons, and the mysteries of sex, death and human existence, provide deeply meaningful experiences to Pagans in Australia. However, there are substantial challenges in practising Paganism south of the equator. Contemporary Pagans draw inspiration from the ancient Pagans of Britain, Europe, Egypt and the Mediterranean who created rituals around the seasons and agricultural practices of their areas.
