Kaiji: Final Game

synopsis

Kaiji struggles to make ends meet, often debating if he has enough money to spend on beer. He is gradually filled with rage when the price of beer keeps rising. One day, he learns that Otsuki, his former underground labour camp boss, has become the President of the powerful Teiai conglomerate after making a name for himself through an illegal gambling ring. Kaiji is then introduced by Otsuki to "Babel no Tou", a risky game of luck that gives the poor a chance to get rich overnight. He is also introduced to three other games, "Saigo no Shinpan", "Dream Jump" and "Gold Janken", all of which include life and death situations. A born gambler, Kaiji is willing to take his chances.
