Ranganayaki

synopsis

Ranganayaki, a music teacher and Madhav, her colleague belongs to a very traditional and orthodox family, are set to tie the knot. Krishnamurthy, the drama teacher is secretly in love with her.

She gets invited to a birthday party which ends in her sedated gang rape. Manav's family considers rape stigma and refuses to accept the relation. Ranganayaki is left alone to deal with physical, psychological and societal trauma of it all. Can she stand her ground and fight for her rights against society?
