synopsis

Vahni is the powerful tale of a resilient woman named Devi, who is led by certain circumstances to choose the vocation of an undertaker. Cremating the deceased is a job which women are usually excluded from, and Devi must now battle against fate and the narrow-minded society to make a living for herself and her child.
