synopsis

The story revolves around a gramophone. Chandrakanta (Paran Bandopadhyay) is the owner of a gramophone and he loves listening to music on it. All is well until his son Chandan (Bhaskar Banerjee) marries Sumitra (Chaiti Ghoshal). She dislikes the music of the gramophone very much. Her dislike reaches to such an extent, that she plots on how to evict her father-in-law from the house. Chandrakanta feels insulted and goes to stay with his friend Akhilesh Banerjee, he takes the gramophone with him. It is after he leaves that an antique collector meets them and tells them about the importance of the gramophone. What happens next? Do they get the gramophone? Will Chandrakanta give the gramophone?
