synopsis

Kallu, a butcher in extreme poverty, is trying to keep his daughter in school who has been expelled as they cannot pay the fees. Desperate to borrow money, he engages in a trade with his friend Shankar, who gives him an Ox to sell in the market. However, Kallu's life gets entangled in communal tension as 'cow protectors' begin trailing him. Will he be able to get out of the situation?
