synopsis

The one and only child of a departed weaver, Anwara, the mother of a happy family with her three children encounters a bedlam as her husband Abbas leaves her abandoned by marrying a Kuwait based Garment owner's daughter. A passionate lover of her community, Anwara, rather than giving in, chooses to challenge and irrespectively ignoring the resistance from her only living elder, evolves into her paternal business with her eldest son Ismail. After couple of years, as Ismail starts to venture out to cities, it appears as a reminiscent to Anwara of her father who used to leave on business trips for indefinite time to return. While Ismail is away from her, she discovers herself as a mother born into a new life by watching TV news.
