Placebo Love Story narrates the tale of Crystal Lewis, a young woman who is in her early twenties. She is distressed, hates men, and leads a life taking the advantage of pliant Canadian Immigration laws. The turn of events happens when an immigration officer named Doug Bannister comes into her life at the time when her third marriage with a Filipino student turns fatal.
