synopsis

Manang Biring explores how Filipinos, especially those on the margins of society, deal with death. The title character, an elderly woman with no money to her name, is more than ready to face death. But when she learns of a chance to reunite with her daughter and her grandson, she tries everything she can to put it off just a little while longer.
