synopsis

Pratap Mukherjee is a retired officer. The film starts with the preparation of the Durga Puja event at Mukherjee's villa. Chandrima, Pratap Mukherjee's daughter-in-law, is about to expand their family business. She is a widow and mother of two young ladies, Rajani and Sinjini. From Bangladesh, a friend named Samsher has come to their house to attend the Durga Puja celebration. Mansur meets Sinjini, a Brahman girl, and falls in love at first sight, but Manager Chakladar has a plan to spoil the venture.
