synopsis

The Great Maiden's Blush is both a delicate and thorny tale of two first-time single mothers, Bunny a taxi driver and illicit girl-racer, and Aila, a failed pianist and gardener. After the birth of their babies, they end up sharing a room in a post-natal ward. A precarious friendship develops between them, and as they face the challenges of new motherhood, they must also confront their pasts and the truth of the paternity of their newborn babies.
