Kanalaattam (NR)

synopsis

When Shailaja ventures into the forest, she meets Surya. He takes her home and the atmosphere of his house of the forest lifts her spirits. After five days, it is time to bid goodbye, when Surya tells her that he would like to spend the rest of his life with her. Shailaja does have a soft spot for him... but she is in for a big shock. The villagers tell her that the forest guard's family, including Surya. had been murdered two years ago. She protests, telling them that she had stayed with that family for the last five days. Shailaja rushes back to the house and much to her horror, finds an old dilapidated, abandoned building.
