synopsis

Sung-chil is a curmudgeonly 70-year-old man who lives alone and works part-time at the local supermarket. When a redevelopment project threatens to change his way of life, Sung-chil refuses to add his name to a petition that would enable the project to move forward. Then he meets Geum-nim, the feisty elderly lady who runs the flower shop next door, and a life-changing courtship begins.
