synopsis
In July of 2013 a group of Delaware musicians and filmmakers traveled to the Andean region of Peru to document the music and lives of the people. In an effort to understand music as a universal theme that exists in all cultures, Travel Songs explores questions of identity, modernity, and art as they pertain to the Peruvian experience. A creative approach to film making combines intimate personal narratives, stunning geographic landscapes, and an emotional soundtrack to delivery a compelling story of a land rich in tradition and geographic beauty.
