synopsis

A carefree young man gets into trouble with the leaders of his village, who threaten to have him thrown out. In order to save his mother from the grief of separation, his friend advices him to woo the village leader's niece. Surprisingly, this plan succeeds and the village leader's niece admits that she would marry none other than the young man. However, he is not in love with her, and to escape from marrying the village leader's niece, he creates a girl and tells everybody that he is very much in love and could not even think of marrying another. The village leader then gives him a deadline before which he must bring his beloved to the village and marry her. Now, the young man is forced to travel out of the country in search of his fictitious beloved. Will he succeed in finding her? Even if he does, will she ever fall in love with him?
