synopsis

This film portrays the unexpected incidents happening over two days in the life of an overseas middle class family man, Jitya Bhau, in the small town of Maharashtra. A moment of weakness traps him with a prostitute in a stuffy, empty shop room, and the ensuing tense moments transform his life forever. The 24 hours of confinement dramatically alters the personal equations between the two strangers. It is a drama on human predicament that appears delectably funny at times, and palpably poignant at others. Carefully interwowen are the parallel stories of a struggling film director and an innocent autorikshaw driver. The film brings together all these characters whose lives are intertwined for a day - though they dont fully know it.
