synopsis

The Malayalam movie, Vasanthathinte Kanalvazhikalil (Through the Burning Path to spring), is an Epic saga set against the panorama of the stormy forties of Kerala society. It has as its theme explosive social events unfolding in an agrarian Kerala village, dominated and suppressed by higher caste feudal landlords and Imperialist British rulers.
