synopsis

Set against the backdrop of the historical city of Madurai, this action-oriented suspense thriller follows the twists and turns in the relationship between a father and his adopted son. Sivan (Mohanlal) is a don who adopts Sakthi (Vijay), his driver's son as his own after he is killed by a police officer. Sakthi grows up with an aversion to Khaki and hates cops. To save his father's crime syndicate, Sakthi is forced to join the police department, but soon tables are turned. How will the consequent conflicts affect the special bond between father and son?
