synopsis

Vanna Fut was a baby when he escaped Cambodia to settle in California. He was initiated into the Cambodian gang TRG (Tiny Raskal Gang) at 11 years old. He tells his experience during the gang wars in the 90's gangster era in CA and Seattle. Vanna overcomes adversities to pursue dreams in the Arts- joining the Seattle 90s Hip Hop scene, to landing an acting role in a 2011 cult gangster-genre film. This is the inspiring true story of a man who has the will to pursue his dreams against all odds. This is an unflinching look at three generations of the biggest Asian gang in America as seen through the eyes of someone who lived it, It is the story of family, the strength of the human mind, and of the power of love.
