A young student named Chandu is smitten by his new teacher in college named Madhulata he tries to persuade her to marry him. Although initially she wards off his advances, she eventually agrees for marriage on the condition that he makes another girl fall in love with him within two months. As agreed Chandu woos a girl named Shravani who after much persuasion falls in love with him and as she goes to confess her love she discovers Chandu's ulterior motive.
