synopsis

Danish backpacker, Mike Hammershoi is running from a dark secret. One night, while traveling through the Scottish borders, he stops at an estate hoping to find some work. There, he encounters a blind farm-owner, Francis Black and his elderly mother Bella in a shuttered, decaying mansion, cut off from the outside world.
