synopsis

Cory Mann gets hungry for smoked salmon and decides to spend a summer smoking fish at his family's traditional fish camp in the Alaskan back-country. This break from his hectic life in Juneau offers him a chance to reflect on the messy zone of collision between the modern world and an ancient culture playing out in his life.
