Michael Jordan to the MAX (NR) No Rating

Review Date: May 5th, 2000

"Michael Jordan: To The Max" opens this weekend at Universal Studio and Edwards IMAX Theaters. It's a celebration of Jordan's tremendous athletic skill, and his integrity as a person.

Jordan is viewed as the man who has it all: looks, charm, brains, and he can play a mean game of ball. The movie highlights the good times, the bad times, and the true nature of his character. Covering his final year with the Chicago Bulls with slow motion sequences, and larger then life images of his tremendous skill on the court.

One thing the movie does not get into is his personal life. Jordan is immensely private, however, he does discuss the 1993 murder of his father. The death of his father prompted him to abandon his basketball career and try his hand at baseball. Ultimately, Jordan realized his talents lie on the basketball court and he should be appreciate the skill he has.

An inspiring movie about a man who's not just larger the life on screen but in reality as well.
