synopsis
Based on a true story, the film chronicles the adventures of Capt.Theodore Allen and Lt. A.A. Carr, two Union soldiers captured by Confederate forces under the command of Southwest Virginia's Gen. W.E. "Grumble" Jones in November 1863 after the Battle of Rogersville, Tenn. Allen and Carr escape and make their way back to Federal lines with the help of Union sympathizers and the Underground Railroad.
