synopsis

"Pattiyal" is a morbid account of two orphaned youths leading a depressing life as contract killers. As a study of gangster life, "Pattiyal" is realistic and in some cases depressing. As a study the relationship between two friends, it is touching. As a picture of the youths' struggle with life, their confusion and their encounters in following their hearts, it is all too real.
