synopsis

Released from prison for unspecified offenses, Hasan finds himself unable to reenter or even recognize the society into which he emerges. Even the most basic communication with other people is a challenge, and Hasan increasingly draws into himself. He finds a job as the driver of a hearse for one of Istanbul's churches-a seemingly perfect job for someone trying to disappear in plain sight-but then he meets a woman and her son, and together they rekindle some kind of spark in Hasan's life.
