synopsis

As a young woman, RocĂ­o and her husband risked everything to raise their children in the U.S. Years later, she becomes ill and her son DarĂ­o takes a leave of absence from his studies at Harvard to care for her. But despite of his status as a DACA recipient, leaving the U.S. will throw DarĂ­o's immigration status and education into doubt. His fight for temporary humanitarian parole garners national media attention. Can he come home again?
