The Chain: A Play

synopsis

In an effort to impress his visiting brother from Italy, Tullio Testa - a working class landscape contractor - attempts to impress him by appearing as a man of leisure. He turns the business over to his younger, favourite son Massimo - ultimately shunning his other son Joe, who has worked alongside him for years. When Massimo puts their business in jeopardy, a war erupts between father and sons - unravelling their façade and forever altering the dynamics within the family.
