synopsis

This is a love story disguised as a fight film, based on the life of the greatest Latin American boxer, the undefeated Edwin "El Inca" Valero (actor Alexander Leterni in a "knock-out" performance). Hailing from the Venezuelan Andes, Valero was a charismatic but also tragic figure. His personal life starts to unravel even while achieving his greatest successes in the ring, as he falls prey to his demons. He strays from his devoted wife with another woman, gets trapped in drug addiction and his story reaches a climax that shocks the nation.
