synopsis

Shahar is a photographer whose first solo exhibition is set to open in two weeks time. While preoccupied with the momentous exhibition, Shahar receives the news that her Grandmother Esther has died. The reunion with her family and the demanding mourning period at her grandmother's home awake a sense of alienation and foreignness in her. She grows restless and frustrated as she watches the walls of the house, which have been whitewashed in accordance with mourning traditions.
