synopsis
"Pop & Me" follows the twenty-something and first-time director Chris Roe, and his Baby Boomer father, Richard, as they take a six-month trip around the globe. Hoping to find some universal truths about the bonds between fathers and sons, the duo interview men of various cultures and socioeconomic classes, including the surprisingly candid famous son of a super-famous dad, Julian Lennon. As they gain insight into the perils and joys of fatherhood, they also delve into their own complicated relationship - Richard grapples with a down-and-dirty midlife crisis while Chris struggles for Pop's respect.
