Umrika (NR)

synopsis

Jitvapur is more than a tiny, dusty village somewhere in India. It is the home of Udai, who left the town for a bigger and better life in America, or Umrika as they call it. Udai's younger brother Ramakant has no idea why America should be bigger and better, but the letters Udai sends cheer up his family nonetheless. However, Ramakant finds hints that the letters from America may not be from America at all. Moreover, Udai seems to have disappeared. Ramakant sets out with his best friend to find Udai and bring him home. It is a voyage to find the life he long believed his brother was living, a life that finally belongs to him alone. A life in Umrika.
