Hong Kong residential property is reported to be the most expensive in the world. Nevertheless, four average Joes would still do anything to become proud property owners. Lung, a hardworking property agent, is facing a serious situation in life. His girlfriend won`t marry him unless he can buy her a 1000-sq ft apartment in one year`s time. Charlotte, a recent divorcee who just moved out from her ex-husband, is in need of a new place to live. She receives a sizable breakup fee of 4 million dollars. Delivery girl Hak, who is Lung`s step daughter and sees him as a father figure, owns a small flat given by her estranged mother. Mainland richling Very works as an intern in Lung`s property agency, claiming to experience an ordinary life in Hong Kong. Hoping to make enough money through property speculation, the four of them become co-owners of a penthouse in a luxurious condominium. However, the government plays a big trick on them by issuing an anti-speculation measure to cool down the property market, which catches them completely dumbfounded.
