synopsis

Du is a successful young woman who is determined to find a husband. She places an ad in the newspaper and meets a series of wholly inappropriate men. In brilliantly shot and acted comic vignettes, Du encounters would-be suitors, everyone from a shoe fetishist to a pimp looking for more call girls. But as the film progresses, we learn more about Du's life and her reasons for enduring this at times humiliating adventure, all tied to her recently ended relationship with a married man.
