Sound Thoma (NR)

synopsis

The film is based on a rich gentleman named Thoma who has severe sound problems since his birth. His mother died after giving birth to him. His father Plapparambil Paulo was not interested to spend money for the treatment of his disabled son. Paulo is a financier who gives money as loan and if the person does not repay, he will snatch the belongings of that person. He has three sons- the elder one is Plapparambil Mathai, the middle one Joykutty and the third being Thoma. Plapparambil Mathai fell in love with a Muslim community girl and marries her. This made his father angry so, Mathai becomes a Muslim and changes his name as Musthafa. Paulo was having a wish to make Mathai marry a rich girl and get two crore as dowry. After this incident he thought he can make his wish come true by marrying off his middle son but no one was interested to give their daughter to Plapparambil house.
