synopsis

Drazen, Wallace and Ken immigrated to America in search of their piece of the American Dream. Drazen and Wallace spend their days engulfed in seedy off-track betting while Ken grudgingly drives a New York cab. Bad luck and desperation bring these men together, and they are forced to fight for their very survival and their most valued prize: the right to stay in America.

Ultimately, "Ponies" is about the tenuous hold we each have on the American Dream during these dark, uneasy times of war, fear and terrorism…
