synopsis
An epic story, three years in the making. At the end of the summer, a moose finds herself alone in the forest. She has just lost her calf, probably to a bear. Now she must find a mate. Once pregnant again, she will endure months of bone-chilling winter until she delivers in the spring. She will fiercely protect her new calf from predators and teach him everything he needs to know to survive.
